Hydraulic pump installation matters needing attention一．Position of oil pump
The position of the pump shall be consistent with the sound source position and the measurement surface (or the route of the microphone) specified in the international standard corresponding to the experimental environment adopted.
1.The design of pump seat should minimize the noise caused by pump vibration.
2.The fixed support plate of oil pump shall be made of high damping material or sound damping and sound absorbing material.
3.Even if the pump is installed reliably, isolation technology should be used if necessary.
4.Use small flange mounting as far as possible to limit interference from noise radiation toward the pump shaft end.
三． Drive of oil pump
The driving motor is arranged outside the test space, and the oil pump is driven by an elastic coupling and an intermediate shaft, or an acoustic motor is used.
1.Filters, coolers, oil tanks and throttle valves used in the loop should meet the requirements of the operating conditions of hydraulic oil pumps.
2.Select test oil and filter unit as recommended by manufacturer.
3.Inlet and outlet piping shall be of the same size as the manufacturer's custom, and special care shall be taken to prevent air from entering the loop when installing inlet piping.
4.The mounting height of the inlet pressure gauge shall be consistent with the height of the inlet pipe joint.If there is a height difference, it should be calibrated.
5.Select the length of the pipeline between the hydraulic pump and the load valve to minimize standing waves in the output pipeline.Standing waves increase pump radiation.
Note: Long hoses are effective in limiting standing waves.
6.Use a stable load valve.
7.The position of the load valve should be away from the pump, preferably outside the test room, to limit interference.The load valve should only be installed near the pump if its acoustic performance is good enough.
